Q2. What level do you need to sign up?

The Racing Experience concept allows you to test competition skis from Rossignol’s Race Workshop for the first time. To master these exceptional skis and benefit fully from the race feel, experienced skier level is recommended (speed control and “carving” turns).

Q3. How many skiers will there be per session?

In order to guarantee an exceptional experience and high-quality service, the number of participants is limited to 6 per half day. Thanks to the assistance of 2 professional coaches, each skier will be given personalised advice to help master the competition skis and improve his/her ski technique.

Q4. What time do we need to arrive for the session?

You will need to be at the meeting point at the time indicated on your purchase order. The meeting time is generally 8.45am for morning sessions and 12.45pm for afternoon sessions.

Q5. Do I need to buy a ski pass before turning up for the session?

No. The Day Ski Pass is included in the Racing Experience package. It allows you access to the slalom course during the coaching session and to make the most of the ski area after your racing experience.

Q6. Who are the coaches?

The coaches are trained, experienced professionals involved in ski coaching in competition situations. They are trainers, race technicians or former high-level athletes or Rossignol ambassadors, there to give you the best possible advice to improve your ski technique.

Q7. What type of slalom will we be skiing?

You will be given the chance to ski a real slalom course which has been reserved for the occasion. The course will be designed according to your level. In most cases, it will be a Giant slalom where you will experience the speed and trajectory aspects.

Q8. If I want to cancel my session what do I do?

If you took out cancellation insurance at the time of registration, you can directly contact the Insurance Company and you will be fully reimbursed for the amount associated with that particular skier. If you did not take out cancellation insurance, no reimbursement can be made. We would therefore advise you to check whether your payment method (bank card) includes insurance which allows you to recover all or part of your fee.

For organisation matters, if you cancel your participation or that of someone in your group, please go to the “My Account” section (by entering your email and password) and click on the “Cancel” button on the line corresponding to the skier concerned.

For any information or queries concerning cancellations, please contact the Racing Experience Customer service desk.

Q9. What happens if the weather conditions mean we cannot ski?

In the event of poor weather which prevents access to the ski area (closure of ski lifts), the session may be postponed to a later date or indeed, cancelled. In the case of cancellation, participants will be fully reimbursed for the cost of their session.
NB: the coaching team will be sole judge for the cancellation of a session. Whatever the weather, if the coaching team considers that the session can take place, no postponement or cancellation may be requested.
